The Mitre Ridge climbing expedition. It took a day to cycle and walk in and set up camp. We only started off on the climb at 4pm and got back at 11pm.

The Skye Cullin ridge. That's Sgurr nan Gillean in the back ground. We were about to have an epic getting off Am Basteir

July 2008

Cycle ride, on the beach, in East Lothian about 30 minute east of Einburgh.

There was a strong haar (a heavy sea fog) all day making it all quite atmospheric.

Hiking around the Scottish NW coast up north of Torridon

Hiking in France. Chamonix is in the valley below us and that's Mount Blanc in the middle.

Fantastic walking with zero crowds and empty huts.

A walk around Crieff in Perthshire. Lovely paths along easy rolling country side.

A walk up Schiehallion. The 59th highest mountain in Scotland. Linda is wearing 23 different layers

Dec 2008

Cycle tour in WanlochLead. Picturesque, lovely weather and lots of icey roads. A bit like cycling on an ice-rink at times.

Wanlocklead is an old lead mining town and the highest town in the UK (I read that somewhere... not sure if thats really true)
